Registration → Ballot → Data Cleansing → Sales
This is one unified flow. Registration, ballot entry, the operational gap (draw + data cleansing), timeslot assignment, and the sales/checkout process are all stages of a single Guest journey — not separate flows.

AELTC runs the random draw across all valid registered accounts.
2

SOAP
Signup Optimization & Automated Purging
The data cleansing engine used between ballot close and timeslot assignment
v1.6
SOAP takes the raw ballot signup CSV and runs it through a suite of configurable detection rules — identifying bots, duplicates, fake names, suspicious email patterns, and coordinated signup bursts. Data never leaves the machine. Output is a clean, auditable exclusion list imported directly into the timeslot assignment process.
SOAP — Welcome screen
Four steps. Clean data.
1
Upload
Drop one or more CSV files. SOAP combines split files automatically.
2
Import & Map
Map CSV columns to canonical fields. Auto-detects common column names.
3
Process
Configure detection rules and run. All rows processed in one pass, tagged with reasons.
4
Export
Filter by tag or risk level. Full audit trail in the output CSV.
Step 1 — Upload
Multi-file drag-and-drop, auto-combined with row count preview
Step 3 — Process Rules
Burst detection, bot scoring, fuzzy matching — all configurable per run
What SOAP detects
🤖
Bot scoring
Digit-heavy, long, repeating chars, keyboard sequences — scored per signal
⚡
Burst detection
Coordinated waves from same postcode + non-consumer domain in a time window
🔍
Fuzzy matching
Near-identical emails via Jaro-Winkler — catches typo variants and numbered aliases

Additional Capability
Virtual Queue
The Wimbledon Queue is one of sport's great traditions — but it's entirely physical. A virtual queue layer modernises The Queue without removing its character, and opens up capacity management at scale.
The Eventim platform supports scan out at the gate to open up the ticket. We are exploring how we can use geo location and ticket releases - for example if a customer leave the venue without a scan out, we can ask if they plan to return.
Current — Physical Queue
○Guests queue physically overnight on Church Road and Wimbledon Park
○Queue Cards issued on arrival — numbered, dated, non-transferable
○myWimbledon ID scanned by stewards to check in
○One ticket per person. Centre Court not available on last 4 days
○No way to control who joins from outside the local area
○No position recovery if a guest briefly leaves
Proposed — Virtual Queue via Qtrackr
✓Guests join the queue on their phone — no overnight camp required
✓GPS geo-fence enforces on-site presence — join and stay within 500m of Church Road
✓Position held digitally, updated in real time with estimated wait time
✓When tickets release, next guest auto-notified with a 5-minute timed reservation
✓Protected purchase link unique to that guest — can't be shared, forwarded, or scalped
✓Auto-trigger advances the queue as reservations expire or tickets are declined

Key capabilities for The Queue
⏱️
5-Minute Timed Reservation
When it's a guest's turn, Qtrackr sends an SMS and email with a 5-minute countdown. Miss the window — reservation auto-expires and the next person is triggered.
🔒
Protected Purchase Link
A referrer-locked URL appears only on the guest's own status page. Can't be copied, shared, or forwarded. One link, one guest, one purchase.
🤖
Auto-Trigger Next in Queue
As tickets release — through expiry, decline, or new inventory — the queue advances automatically. No manual intervention needed.
📍
Geo-Ringfencing
Guests must be within a defined radius of the Grounds to join or keep their place. GPS-verified on-device. Anyone outside the zone is rejected.

Geo-ringfencing detail
Only guests physically at Wimbledon can join or stay in the queue.
The geo-fence is drawn around the AELTC Grounds. GPS is verified on-device — coordinates are never stored. Guests attempting to join from outside (home, a nearby pub, another country) are rejected. Guests who leave mid-queue can be automatically paused or removed. Radius, re-check interval, and breach behaviour are all configurable.
Join queue — within 500m of Church Road SW19
Maintain place — GPS re-checked periodically
Warning — approaching boundary of geo-fence
Rejected — outside geo-fence or VPN detected
Radius, re-check interval, and breach behaviour all configurable per event.
